For almost half a lifetime ex-agent Richard Gardiner has buried his searing memories of treachery and torture at the hands of the Gestapo in Paris. But in the mid 1960s, back in France on holiday, he is confronted by the past. The author's other novels include "Rat Trap" and "Firefox".
Craig Thomas was educated at University College, Cardiff where he gained his MA in 1967. His interests included cricket and music. He died in April 2011.
