Abdul-Majeed Salmasi is an NHS London-based consultant cardiologist and researcher in cardiovascular medicine. He is a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the National Heart and Lung Institute of the Imperial College London. He obtained his Ph.D. in Medicine from St Mary's Hospital Medical School, London University. He is a fellow of different professional medical colleges and societies. His other qualifications as a Master Practitioner in Neurolinguistic programming and clinical hypnotherapist made his hobby of writing short stories to evolve to writing novels. He uses his experience in understanding the psychology and pathology in his novels. Most of all, his novels contain some medical conditions which are important in people's lives. Majeed lives with his wife in London. He has eight grandchildren, whom he adores.
