He has authored and co-authored more than 60 guidebooks to all regions of Canada, as well as to Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific. Hempstead is also co-owner of Summerthought Publishing, which produces non-fiction books about the Canadian Rockies. He lives in Banff, Alberta, with his wife and children. Helena Katz is an award-winning travel writer and journalist. Watson is a prolific writer based in Prince Edward Island with 28 books and numerous articles to her credit. Her writing focuses on Canada's Maritime provinces, travel, food, lifestyles, seniors, and entrepreneurship. Julie and her husband travel extensively in the family RV where Julie writes along the way. The award-winning writer shares her passion for writing, POD publishing, and scrapbooking through workshops across Canada, working with her son-Vancouver photographer John Watson.
