Ann Pilling is the award-winning author of many novels for children including Stan, The Big Pink, and the modern classic Henry's Leg. She has also written short stories for children, including The Donkey's Day Out, a modern picture book about Christ's triumphant ride into Jerusalem. Ann Pilling lives in Oxford with her husband and family. Kady MacDonald Denton is a fine arts graduate who began illustration while on a sabbatical in London. She is the author and illustrator of several picture books, including for Kingfisher Would They Love a Lion? and the award-winning A Child's Treasury of Nursery Rhymes. She lives in Manitoba, Canada, with her husband and family.
