Anne Fleming read Modern Greats at Oxford and learned philosophy from Iris Murdoch. She is on the Editorial Board of The Byron Journal and has reviewed for the TLS, The Byron Journal, The Tablet and the weekly journal of the Houses of Parliament, The House Magazine. She was married to a leading advertising man and brought up three children in Germany, London, New York and Sussex, where she now lives. Her four crime novels continue to keep her in the top four thousand authors for PLR. She has published three books on Byron and two on the life and work of Ursula Fleming.
