Carol Fertig is the current editor of Understanding Our Gifted, a popular journal for parents and teachers of gifted children, and the author of the Gifted Child Information Blog, the nation's most popular blog for parents of gifted children. She has been active in the education community for 37 years and involved in gifted education for the past 18. She is the parent of two gifted children and a former classroom teacher.
