Books by Colin McCarthy

Colin was born in the village of Sixbells in the Valley of South Wales. He was educated in the university of life, and later worked as a farm hand, a builder and a factory worker at Weston's biscuit works near Cwmbran. His interests are nature documentaries, linguistics, psychology, chickens and of course writing. Colin began writing poetry in the mid nineties and then decided to have a crack at story-writing. He has been enthusiastically beavering away at his writing bureau with pen and paper for the past eleven years. His Literary idols include Charles Dickens, Mary Shelley, Arthur Conan Doyle and the Bronte sisters, to name but a few. When Colin is not busy writing he can be found in the garden tending his beans or sat in his arm chair with a good book.
