Cynthia Thayer is the author of Strong for Potatoes and A Certain Slant. She has led workshops for the Maine Writers and Publishers Alliance and taught fiction writing at the University of Maine. She is a founding member of the Meetinghouse Theatre Lab. She lives with her family on a waterfront organic farm in Gouldsboro, Maine
