About the Authors David Crowder and Rhonda Crowder have written or co-written several books on computers and the Internet, including Building a Web Site For Dummies and Teach Yourself the Internet. They were selling hypertext systems back in the days when you had to explain to people what the word meant. They have been involved in the online community for more than a decade and are the recipients of several awards, including NetGuide magazine's Gold Site Award. About the Contributors Erie Butow is owner of E. E. Butow Communications LLC, a technical communications firm in Roseville, California. He has years of experience in graphic design, technical writing, and Web design. Butow is also the author of Master Visually Windows 2000 Server and co-author of Teach Yourself Visually Windows 2000 Server, both published by Hungry Minds (formerly IDG Books Worldwide). Stephanie Cottrell Bryant has written on a number of Web-related topics, including HTML, Web editing tools, and Web site design. Currently, she teaches freshman composition at San Jose State University in San Jose, California, where she is pursuing her Master's Degree in English. Matthew David has been writing and evangelizing the potential and power of the Web for more than six years. He lives in Wisconsin with his lovely wife and three children. Patricia A. Hartman has written a number of books, including Teach Yourself Visual Basic 6 (Hungry Minds, formerly IDG Books Worldwide), Flash 5 Visual JumpStart (Sybex), and Active Server Pages in Plain English with Timothy Eden (Hungry Minds). She lives in North San Diego County with her husband, two Rottweilers, a cat, and their computer network. Wendy Willard is the founder and owner of the Web design and development agency Willardesigns (www.willardesigns.com). She is actively involved in Web-related education and consulting and teaches Web design and development throughout the United States and Europe.
