Books by Dean LeBaron
Dean LeBaron, founder of Batterymarch Financial Management in 1969, is Chairman of Wordworks, Inc. and virtualquest.company. Often styled an investment futurist, he is among the pioneers of indexing, quantitative investing and emerging markets. His web site www.deanlebaron.com often has daily comment on complex adaptive systems, markets and major events of the day. Dean held investment positions at F. S. Moseley & Company and Keystone Custodian Funds following graduation from Harvard University and its Business School in 1960, where he was a Baker Scholar. He received a Graham & Dodd award for writing in the Financial Analysts Journal and an alumni achievement award from the Harvard Business School. Romesh Vaitilingam is a consultant and financial journalist. He is the author of several successful business and financial titles including the bestselling The Financial Times Guide to Using the Financial Pages. Marilyn Pitchford, formerly a tax partner at Arthur Young & Company (now Ernst & Young), is chief financial officer of Dean LeBaron's business interests. As Dean is not one to let titles (form) interfere with operations (function), Marilyn participates in many aspects of Dean's varied endeavours, the latest being The Ultimate Book of Investment Quotations. She received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Colorado State University.
