Deborah A. Wuest is a professor in the Department of Health Promotion and Physical Education at Ithaca College, New York. She received her B.S. degree in physical education from SUNY Cortland, her M.S. degree in physical education from Indiana University, and her Ed.D. in Human Movement from Boston University. Deborah has over 40 years of teaching experience, and has twice received Ithaca College's Charles C. Dana Award for Teaching Excellence. Deborah teaches courses in the foundations of physical education, foundations of health sciences, stress management, coaching and computer applications in health and physical education. She has co-authored textbooks on foundations of physical education, exercise science, and sport; secondary methods in physical education, and humanism in coaching. Deborah is the Managing Editor of the Apps section on PECentral. Charles A. Bucher was a leader in Physical Education. He received his Ed.D. from New York University. He taught physical education at several institutions ending his career at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He co-authored one of the first fitness books, Fitness for College and Life with William Prentice. He also wrote the marketing leading Management of Physical Education and Sport now in its twelfth edition and authored by March Krotee. Foundations of Physical Education and Sport is now in its fourteenth edition and is authored by Deborah Wuest. Dr. Bucher was a highly respected educator who helped train several generations of physical education students.
