Dr. Ruth K. Westheimer is a psychosexual therapist who pioneered the field of media therapy. She teaches at Yale University, where she is a fellow at Calhoun College, and Princeton University, where she is a fellow at Butler College. She is also an adjunct professor at NYU and a fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine. She has her own private practice in New York and lectures worldwide. She is the author of 34 books and has her own Web site (www.drruth.com). ?Dr. Westheimer has two children, four grandchildren, and resides in New York City.Pierre A.
