Liz Holland became a registered mental health nurse after undertaking a PGDiP in mental health nursing at Kings College London as part of the 2010 cohort. Prior to her nurse training, Liz obtained a BSc (hons) in Psychology with Mental and Physical Healthcare. Liz is currently completing the final elements of her MSc in Psychosocial Interventions. Liz is a graduate of the NHS Leadership Academy, and has extensive post registration training in physical healthcare, psychological interventions and quality improvement. Liz has had a varied clinical career to date. Her clinical experience is predominately in acute mental health, and Liz worked as a ward manager on an acute ward before moving in to a senior lecturer role at Kingston and St Georges University, where she one was of the module leaders for psychopharmacology. Liz's current post is the Head of Clinical Effectiveness and Improvement at Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
