Frank Geile, born in 1964, studied history and geography, specialising in the Rhineland. For more than 20 years he has managed an event agency and regularly organises city walks and tourist programmes on both sides of the river Rhine. In recent years he has written many books about the Rhineland and has a profound knowledge of the region.
