Books by Fred Johnston

Fred Johnston is a writer, journalist and musician from Galway, Ireland. He has received the presitgious Hennessy Literary Award for prose, the Sunday Independent Short Story and Poem of the Month awards, and more recently the Prix de l'Ambassade. He co-founded The Irish Writers' Co-operative, and has published four novels, eight collections of poetry and had three plays performed. He has lived in Algeria and Canada, and spent a year as a writer-in-Residence to the Princess Grace Irish Library at Monaco in 2004. This is his first short story collection.
