Jack Campisi is Visiting Professor of Anthropology at Wellesley College. He has served as an expert witness in the Oneida land claims case and is consultant to many American Indian tribes.
Laurence M. Hauptman is Professor of History, State University of New York College at New Paltz, and is the author of numerous books and articles on the Iroquois, including The Iroquois and the New Deal and The Iroquois Struggle for Survival: World War II to Red Power (both Syracuse University Press).
