Dr. Jerry Beasley was selected by Black Belt magazine as its Instructor of the Year for 2000. This is just the latest in a long line of honors for the college professor and life-long martial artist. Dr. Beasley is a member of the highly coveted Black Belt (magazine) Hall of Fame, the martial arts world's highest honor. Inside Karate called him "the published authority of American karate," and Karate International noted that "Dr. Beasley is among the world's elite jeet kune do instructors."
