Books by Julian Halsby

Julian Halsby studied History of Art at Cambridge before becoming Senior Lecturer at a London art college, as well as dealing in 19th century English and Scottish art. He has written seven books including Scottish Watercolours 1740-1940 and many articles for The Artist magazine. He lectures for NADFAS and adult education courses, and is an elected member of the Critics Circle, the International Association of Art Critics, the Royal Society of Arts and the Royal Society of British Artists. Paul Harris is a professional writer and lecturer and long time collector of art. He works internationally and his Scottish base is in North Berwick. He is the author of more than forty books on subjects ranging from art, photography and journalism to whisky and cookery. His autobiography, More Thrills than Skills, was published in 2009.
