Kate Wiltshire was born in Newbury in 1948 and has spent most of her life in the London commuter belt, as a housewife and mother. Continuously active in the Church of England but recently disenchanted by inflexible doctrines and petty feuding over gender and sexuality she is now a Unitarian.
