Kevin Gavin is a writer, photographer and private investigator. A former soldier, police officer and investigative social worker, he is currently the operations director of a specialised undercover team. He spent his early years on a council estate where gang warfare, criminal activity, sexual and physical abuse were the "norm". As a soldier he served in many remote areas of the world, gaining a commendation whilst on active service and became skilled in survival, anti-terrorist and covert surveillance techniques. As a social worker, he encountered horrific and prolific child abuse. As a specialist private investigator he has been able to hone his unique skills and address some of the imbalances he has encountered throughout his life. He lives in the Staffordshire Moorlands.
