Patricia Brooks has reported on cuisines, wines, and dining customs for Bon Appetit, Food & Wine, Travel + Leisure, and other national publications. Since 1977 she has been the Connecticut restaurant reviewer for the New York Times, reporting on more than 2,000 restaurants around the state. Among her twenty-three books are Best Restaurants of New England and Connecticut's Best Dining and Wining.
