Linda Upham spent four years in the RAF as an education officer, before taking a variety of jobs as a school teacher. She lived near Ancaster, Lincolnshire, for six years, and has chosen to set her story in an area she knows well. She now lives near Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. This is her first book.
