M.C. Dutton was married for 35 years, before she divorced six years ago. She has three children and six grandchildren. She works for the Crown Prosecution Service, as well as giving her time as a volunteer for the Samaritans and the Young Offender Team referral panel, and as a mentor. She has met the awesomely heroic to the sad, mad and seriously bad, and believes the human soul is capable of any act, as long as the person responsible can justify it within themselves.
