His books include Chesterton and Evil (Fordham University Press), Biblical Religion and the Novel, 1700-2000 (co-edited with Thomas Woodman, Ashgate), and Nineteenth-Century Religion and Literature: An Introduction (co-written with Emma Mason, Oxford University Press).
