Matthew Wright is a Wellington-based historian who specialises in New Zealand social and military history, and has also written extensively on topics from land claims to engineering. He has published over 10 books with Reed, including military histories that are recognised for the integrity of the information as well as the wide-ranging photographic record provided. Mattthew's most recent book is the Reed Illustrated History of New Zealand.
