Books by Mineke Schipper

Mineke Schipper is Professor of Intercultural Comparative Literature at the Amsterdam Free University and at Leiden State University. She has studied and taught in Zaire, Nigeria, Kenya, and Zimbabwe, and has written extensively on African literature. Her book Beyond the Boundaries: Text and Context in African Literature, published by Ivan R. Dee in 1990, has been widely praised.
