He lives, surfs and hikes in Hawaii. Michael Tsai is an award-winning reporter and columnist for The Honolulu Advertiser and an instructor of English at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and Kapiolani Community College. In addition to climbing the highest mountains in Europe, Africa, and South America, he has explored nearly every public trail on Oahu.
