Paul Gilligan trained as a clinical psychologist through Trinity College Dublin. Currently workimg as Chief Executive of St Patrick's Hospital, he is a former Vice-Chairman of the National Children's Advisory Council and former President of the Psychological Society of Ireland. Before taking up his current post, he was Chief Executive of the ISPCC.
