Books by Peter Berg

Peter Berg was born in Sweden and moved to England with his parents as a child. He is a retired scientist and radio 3 announcer and producer, now a guide in the Cathedral and city of Canterbury. A mountaineer of modest ability and achievement, he has been a member of the Alpine Club since 1992 and has always been interested in the history of mountaineering. As Hon. Archivist of the club from 2000 to 2005, he was custodian of a remarkable collection of documents dating back to the very beginnings of mountaineering.
