Peter Tinniswood wad born in Liverpool. Playwright, screenwriter and satirist, he is the author of many highly-praised and award-winning books. Most famous are his novels about the Brandon family which include A Touch of Daniel, Mog, Except You're A Bird and I Didn't Know You Cared which he adapted for the BBC TV series I Didn't Know You Cared.
