Richard Heyman, Ed.D. (Calgary, Canada), is a professor at the University of Calgary and studies social interaction, specializing in adult/child communication. He has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in communication for thirty-eight years, and has published four popular books on communication. Heyman is married with three children and six grandchildren.
