S Marendaz was born and bred in Wales, where she lives with her handsome husband Peter. Her great passions are football, fruit cake and family. Carly is an illustrator specialising in design for children's products, fashion and picture books. She is inspired by outsider art, vintage ceramics, and riding her bicycle through the hills of the Yorkshire Dales.
