Books by Stein Tonnesson

Stein Tonnesson is a historian and research professor at the Peace Research Institute Oslo and adjunct professor at the Department of Peace and Conflict Research, Uppsala University. From 2011 to 2016 he led Uppsala's East Asian Peace programme. His main research interests are revolution, national identity, nationalism, maritime disputes and the regional transition from widespread frequent warfare to relative peace in both Southeast and Northeast Asia.
