Terry Charman is the Senior Historian at the Imperial War Museum, where he has worked since the mid-1970s. He holds a BA (Hons) in Modern History and Politics from the University of Reading. Terry frequently lecturers on the First and Second World Wars, and has worked on numerous exhibitions during his tenure at the museum, including D Day to Victory; Secret War; Together: The Commonwealth at War; Surviving the Holocaust with the Russian Jewish Partisans and The Animals' War. He has contributed to magazines and journals on a range of subjects, is the author of The German Home Front 1939-1945 and has worked as a consultant on numerous other publications.
