Books by Tom Blair
Tom Blair joined the Fleet Air Arm in 1948 as a naval airman 3rd class and saw service in the Far East, Malta and several air stations in the UK. The final three years of his service (having completed twenty-two years) were spent instructing new entries in engineering at HMS Daedalus at Lee-on-the-Solent. He was demobbed in 1971. Tom spent most of his civilian working life advising industries about health and safety at work. He retired at sixty-five, but soon became bored and ran a private hire business with his wife until he decided to retire for the second time at the tender age of seventy-eight. Tom is well known as a member of the Fleet Air Arm Field Gun Association, and he took part in the Royal Tournament at Earl's Court in 1951.
