On the Shelf by John Lim

When Natalie receives an ornament for her birthday, she pushes the rest of her collection aside to make room for the new. Upset at losing their space, the old ornaments argue and jostle, leading to a catastrophe! Join the ornaments on the shelf in this fun, rhyming story as they discover the importance of accepting others and welcoming those who are new.

About John Lim

Gillian Spiller writes poetry and stories and teaches pre-school aged children. She loves crafting stories about the big little issues and worries that children face, to help them overcome their problems. Gillian has travelled all over Asia, writing and teaching, and now lives in the UK with her family. John Lim is a dreamer. He loves to illustrate and doodle as it helps him express his inner thoughts better than words. He believes that we should not be afraid to be ourselves and express our ideas, and that we should have fun doing it.
