Cognitive Psychology In and Out of the Laboratory Summary

Cognitive Psychology In and Out of the Laboratory by Kathleen M. Galotti

Cognitive Psychology in and out of the Laboratory provides an applied approach for undergraduate courses in cognitive psychology. Kathleen Galotti's accessible writing style and her use of colorful real-life examples bring the full relevance of cognitive psychology into focus for students. Cognitive Psychology features special coverage of the development of cognition from infancy through adolescence, and it contains chapters on individual differences and cross-cultural approaches to cognition. The fifth edition represents the most substantial revision to date. A four-color design and enhanced illustration program will appeal to instructors and students. All significant content has been incorporated directly into the text rather than being pulled aside into boxes or features which students might miss. The book has been fully updated to reflect the latest research; the number of chapters has been streamlined from sixteen to fourteen; and the overall organization has been improved for easier use in a semester course.
