On April 8th, 2002 Andrew Furlong, the Anglican Dean of Clonmacnoise in Ireland, came before a heresy trial for denying the divinity of Christ. This the story of how the church in one part of the world brought one of its own to a heresy trial for being honest about what many clergy in churches throughout the world believe, though they are afraid to say, that the Bible cannot be taken as a literal statement of fact.
