Evolutionary Psychology Bewertungen

Kudos! This captivating and witty tour of evolutionary psychology's big ideas emphasizes their application to everyday life. * Dr. David Myers, Hope College *
I thoroughly enjoyed this book's conversational and storytelling style of writing- very easy to read with a lot of real-world and modern examples. Pelham acts more like an approachable mentor, writing on the subject deeply but without making topics feel sluggish to read through. My students are certain to appreciate this balance! * Darren Iwamoto, Chaminade University of Honolulu *
Evolutionary Psychology is a fantastic book. Pelham takes a personalized yet critical approach without sacrificing the science - it's like he teaches you a personal master class on the field! I highly recommend this textbook! * John E. Edlund, Rochester Institute of Technology *
A lucid, detailed, and entertaining introduction to the deeper questions investigating why humans think and behave in the ways that they do (also known as evolutionary psychology); delightfully informative and readable for both novices and experts alike. * Dr. Damian R. Murray, Tulane University *
This is a great introduction to the fascinating field of evolutionary psychology: well-written, original, and laced with humour, insights, and anecdotes. One of the best short introductions to the subject I've read. * Dr. Steve Stewart-Williams *
