Defect Action Sheets have been published by the Building Research Establishment since 1982. They provide information on common faults in house building, how to avoid them and advice on remedial work. They have become popular with architects, surveyors, site managers and others concerned with improving the quality of new and existing housing because of their concise and authoritative guidance.
