The Papier Mache Garden David Papworth
Over 30 projects in papier mache, designed to add colour, focus and humour to any garden, are outlined in this book. Initially, the basic techniques are presented with step-by-step illustrations showing wiring, paper application, painting and waterproofing. The projects themselves are graded from the simple to the complex. They range from oranges, small birds and toadstools to more spectacular models like a dinosaur, totem pole and a grizzly bear. Other projects feature a monkey hanging from a tree clutching a banana; a salmon leaping from a pool; a teddy clutching a honey pot full of flowers; and a parrot gaily perching in the shrubbery.
