Age of Mythology is the third full game from Ensemble Studios and Microsoft, makers of the smash hit real-time strategy Age of Empires series. This title transports players to a time when heroes battled with monsters of legend and the gods intervened in the affairs of mortal men. Game play is similar to Age of Empires. Mythology enters the mix when players call upon the gods (Greek, Norse, and Egyptian) to act on their behalf or reinforce their armies with more than 20 mythological creatures. The game's new 3D engine adds rich graphic detail.
