Disability Discrimination Act: Inclusion - A Workbook for Building Owners Facilities Managers, and Architects John H. Penton
From October 1999 it will be unlawful to discriminate against disabled people. Managers have until 2005 to identify what physical features need to be addressed in their buildings and how to build and appraise building management strategies to achieve and sustain accessibility. This text shows how the changes required can be achieved pragmatically and over a planned period, often by changing management practices, at minimal cost. It is intended to be used as a workbook, in conjunction with its associated pro-forma audit sheets, and as a key source of reference and information.
