It's perfect for your exams following clinical placements where your consultants expect you to know the basics of a broad variety of drug classifications, or as a quick leg up on important drugs before facing the hospitals. Following that, it could be useful to revise from before rotations on the various systems. It is a well laid out textbook that tells you all you need to know about pharmacology to get through medical school or any other course that has a basis in pharmacology. It gives a good introduction to each subject and explains the relevant pathophysiology of each condition. The authors use a systematic approach to diseases. This helps to clarify underlying concepts before you are bombarded with drug classes and names. Overall, this is a very clinically oriented book that I might use to revise for my finals.
