This work is aimed at those studying for the CACHE Diploma in Child Care and Education, and is intended to be supplementary reading for NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Care and Education, and for the BTEC National in Early Years. The content and layout matches that of the diploma modules, with the aim of making the text easy for students to use. Assessment activities and tests at the end of each module help students to check their understanding and progress.
