Fast Track Surgery: General, Vascular and Urology Manoj Ramachandran

Fast Track Surgery: General Vascular and Urology is written for medical students and junior doctors on surgical rotation during the clinical years of med school or starting off on rotation. It focuses on most of what readers can expect to see on the wards, and is written in a question and answer format covering the most commonly asked questions. The important, must know facts are presented in a concise, accessible way. Also included are questions on clinically oriented anatomy, which will prove indespensible while in the operating theatre with the Consultant! This book is full of useful tips on how to survive the surgical rotation, and mnemonics to make the cramming process a little easier.

Fast Track Surgery: General, Vascular and Urology Bewertungen

The format of this book is ideal! The clear and succinct question and answer format allows the reader to access relevant information quickly. It is fantastic to have some advice on how to present a case on wards rounds as this is a skill that many are apprehensive about. The points of inclusion in a post operative ward round are also of real benefit. I am sure this book will prove an ideal revision aid for the aspiring student. Tahira Choudry - Medical Student, Imperial College London I really like the friendly, non-intimidating style of this book. It really puts me at ease, and I like the basic statistics on how much to read to achieve what's required. The checklist is fantastic! I love the unforced, comprehensive question and answer style. I think the style is brilliant and I feel like I know everything there is know, and totally prepared to go on a surgical rotation! Seb Pillon - Medical Student, The University of Manchester
