Über Maurice Shadbolt

Renee Haggoprimarily illustrates with pen and ink, watercolors, and acrylics. She has a keen eye for realism and is an avid sketcher and life drawer. Maurice Shadbolt CBE (1932-2004) is one of New Zealand s best-known fiction writers and the author of twelve novels, four collections of stories, and a number of works of non-fiction. He has won many literary awards throughout his prestigious career. Shadbolt was awarded a CBE in 1989 for services to literature, and several of his titles are now considered New Zealand classics.
