List 1: a nameless doll Kaya receives a boy doll from her father to serve as her maid. She grows up in a rich family, but lives with constant feelings of despair and loneliness, because she doesn't receive love from any of her family. She develops a closeness to the doll and, over the 40 years of his service, believes that he's the only one who understands her. When she dies, her children put the doll in a coffin, and let it burn with their mother's body. Afterwards, they find that their mother left a will saying that, if they don't keep the doll, they cannot have any of her assets or money. List 2: Maria Due to his childhood experience, Satoru Watanabe hates women, and is almost disgusted by them. He orders a perfect doll as his lover and names her Maria. In order to make her more perfect, he has Maria remodelled to be like a human. When Satoru's in a terrible car accident, he wants Maria to help him out. Unfortunately, she's also dying in the car. List 3: AI A middle-aged lady is very strict to her doll, Ai. She won't let Ai talk to any guys, and makes Ai promise to obey her wishes. As it turns out, the woman is strict, because she was raped when she was young and she's traumatized by men. The truth is that Ai is her daughter, not a doll. Ai finally convinces her mother to set her free and treat her like a human. List 4: KAORU Kaoru and Motohiko Kirishima are happily married and love each other very much. As researchers for the SG Corporation, they devote themselves to develop dolls, which obtain a man-made knowledge like a human. Kaoru starts suffering some disease with unknown origin, and losing her memories. Eventually she cannot remember even Motohiko. Motohiko leaves the company and decides to take care of his loving wife. List 5: AYAKO Kazuhisa lost his mother when he was little. He doesn't get along with his father as he grows to a high school student. His father bought a doll to help them household, and named her Ayako after his mother. A big earthquake hits his hometown, and almost kills his father. It's Ayako who saves his father, and Kazuhisa realizes how important his father is to him. List 6: a maid servant Tokiko thinks her face is ugly. That's why her fiance, Hideo, left her, and got together with her maid, Yukako. Tokiko notices her new servant doll getting scratches, and cuts everywhere, and believes Yukako is doing this to harass her. It's actually Tokiko who's hurting the doll.
