The wines are obviously different from year-to-year, but it amazes me how the author manages to make the comments and terminology interesting every time too -- always more insights. Faced with rows of wines in the supermarkets coming from the same region, or the same grape, at plus or minus the same price -- how is an ordinary wine drinker to know the difference? This really is a guidebook, taking you up paths you would never have thought to venture unaccompanied. Superb. Martina Boyle, Amazon. Great guide at a great price. Essential to get the best value for money when buying wines and this little pocket rocket has saved me a lot of money this Christmas when buying value for money wines.
