This celebration of iconic images of British pop stars presents a survey of the history of modern music. Starting with the 18-year-old Cliff Richard in 1958, the book consists of 50 photographs covering major stars who topped the charts in each successive decade. The formative, first decade features solo artists such as Billy Fury, Adam Faith, Helen Shapiro, Dusty Springfield and Sandie Shaw and groups including The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and The Who - the models for pop icons.
